Book Swap a Success!

smBookswap
In March, Roden students participated in a very successful book swap! Donations were overwhelming and much appreciated. Over 600 books were donated and swapped by students from JK to Grade 8. It was heartwarming to see kids walk away happy with their “new” books. The Roden library and JK/SK classes were able to benefit from the surplus books.

A special thanks goes to all the volunteers who helped make this event such a success: Tawyna, Balwinder, Tanya, Suzanne, Melissa, Fiona, Sarah, Julie, Kathleen, Angelie and Colleen. We are especially grateful to Ms. Montgomery and Mr. O’Shaughnessy for their support in running the swap and to the Toronto Book Bank for their generous donation.

We are looking forward to swapping again in the future!
