On Friday, September 9, 2022. Roden School Council spontaneously hosted a coffee social on school grounds to celebrate the first week of school. From 8:45 to 9:30 parents got to meet, chat, and connect while sipping coffee generously donated by The Black Pony Cafe and Snack Bar (located on Gerrard St, just down the street from the school).
It was wonderful to gather outdoors and begin to build that community spirit after a long and hard few years. We decided to make it a monthly event and it’s become a lovely tradition.
