Roden is excited to announce our Fall 50/50 Raffle!
Help us raise funds in support of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and/or Math (STEAM) classroom enhancements at Roden Junior P.S., making learning even more engaging for the 400 students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.
What do STEAM classroom enhancements mean for students?
- A combination of live student workshops and interactive learning tools. For example, STEAM funding has allowed us to bring in the very popular and hands-on Scientists in the School workshops as well as the raved about Dance N’ Culture workshops.
- We’ve put STEAM funding towards the purchase of books, iPads, Butterfly Larvae and so much more!
- Last year’s 50/50 Raffle proceeds went to the purchase of our own Orff instruments. Specifically we raised enough to purchase: 1 x Alto Diatonic Xylo, 1 x Soprano Diatonic Xylo, and 2 x Soprano Glocks.
