To mark the 100th day of school, the students in Ms. Robichaud’s Grade 1/2 class were assigned a challenge: complete ten different activities, all based on the number 100, before the end of the day.
The activities included weighing 100 items of different objects to see which weighed more. For another activity, they counted 100 Fruit Loops and strung them onto a necklace. They also had to successfully build a boat that held 100 objects without sinking. They made colourful “100th Day” hats to celebrate the occasion!
