Virtual School Council Meetings

Our meetings are complete for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are interested in getting involved in school council, please email us at chair@roden.ca

From our friend's at ReadUP club.

This coming Sunday the 24th and Wednesday the 29th are our last ReadUP dates for this school year. As ReadUP comes to a close for the summer we wanted to thank you for such a beautiful year - it was so lovely to see both old and new faces and to see your children progress with their reading. We will be starting again in mid-late September and will email to let you know locations and times.

Last June Dates
Our last date at our Eastview location is this coming Sunday June 26th from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
Our last date at our Parent Resource location is this coming Wednesday June 29th from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

Mid-Summer Switch
We encourage families to "stock up" for the summer and will be providing each family that comes to our two last dates in June with multiple bags of books (as supplies last). This year we are trying something called the "Mid-Summer Switch" and will be opening for one day in the summer where you can return your current books and stock up with another few bags (as supplies last) for the month of August.

The switch will take place at our Parent Resource location at 1117 Gerrard St. E from 1:30pm-3:30pm.

In case we don't see you - have a fabulous summer!

RODEN BIG ASK CAMPAIGN

There are only a few days left in the school year, and before we depart for the summer, we are putting out a big ask to YOU - our school community.

Roden PS is hosting a Big Ask Campaign - a simple, straightforward fundraiser to help us raise funds for next year.

We only have until June 30th to reach our primary goal of $2000 - we hope you can help us get there!

All funds raised will be directed into STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

Did you know? Next Tuesday is the all-day Roden Dance-a-Thon! And Roden School Council is taking the event out of the gym and onto the schoolyard from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., with music, snacks, and pizza for sale. It’s been a rollercoaster of a year and it is time to celebrate. Mark your calendars — we hope to see you ALL!
