Hello Roden families! We are thrilled to share that we have partnered with local vendor @aunty_yvonne to sell handcrafted cards for spring, Easter, and Eid. Proceeds from the sales will help fund the Grade 8 graduation trip. Cards are $5.50 each and will be on sale until March 24. There 14 beautiful designs to choose from — link to order in our bio. 💐

The votes are in! We are so thrilled to announce the winner of the Spirit Wear Design Challenge: Grade 7 student Jackson Wheeler.

Our two runner-up designs were submitted by Grade 4 student Avealynn Buckner and Grade 5 student Maya Catzel-Palma. All three students will be awarded spirit wear with the winning design. And all ten finalists will receive a T-shirt with their design submission.

Details on how to order spirit wear will be in this week’s RECORD and on our website, roden.ca.

Tonight’s the Winter Concert and we are so excited to see our kids take to the stage! Just a reminder that Roden School Council is hosting a fundraiser raffle and snack bar before the concert begins. Raffle tickets will be available at 5:00 p.m. We have 20 baskets available to win, featuring a range of prizes, gift cards, and experiences generously donated by community members and local vendors. You can see a list of baskets and their contents at roden.ca/roden-winter-concert/ (link in bio). Pizza and baked goods will be available from 5:30 onward. Please bring cash, and help us reach our fundraising goal!

-Amy Wetton (Designer, Art Director, Illustrator)
