Promises Auction
What’s your secret skill? And what’s it worth to Roden?
Roden School Council is looking for donations for our Promises Auction this year. Could you bake gluten-free treats for a class birthday treat? Spend an afternoon doing someone’s Christmas gift-wrapping, or even their shopping? Would you be willing to take a night off looking after your own kids and babysit someone else’s instead? Whatever you’re good at, whatever you love, there’s someone out there who would love not to have to. Shovelling snow, raking leaves, painting a room, washing the car (or the dog), cooking dinner, reviewing a Resume … the list is endless. And it doesn’t have to cost you a cent.
Whatever you can contribute, please email auction@roden.ca no later than 25 November with the details of your Promise. Friends and family of Roden will bid during an online auction to raise money for projects that directly benefit our students, then you will be put in direct contact with your buyer to make arrangements. If you’re not sure about an idea, get in touch and we’ll help you work through the details – pretty much anything can work in this kind of event.
Although our main focus is on private promises, if you wish to donate professional expertise, we can arrange for ‘Sponsored by’ information including a website link.
Your secret skill can make a big difference.
