Grade 1 and 2 Holiday Fun

GingerbreadDec2013
Ms. Robichaud’s Grade 1/2 class had their creative juices flowing this past week. Students spent time making gingerbread houses using graham crackers, candy corn, gum drops, smarties and an assortment of other goodies. Ms. Robichaud made the icing and parent volunteers came in to help. In the end, each student took home a beautiful gingerbread house to be enjoyed by their families over the holidays!

Typhoon Haiyan – Students collecting

The Roden and Equinox Student Councils are fundraising to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Student Council Members will be picking up donations from classrooms until Wednesday December 18th.

They are hoping to donate to the Red Cross and capitalize on the Canadian governments’ donation matching program.

If you would like to support their fundraising efforts please send your donations in an envelope marked “Typhoon Haiyan”.
