Workshop Evening Extravaganza -Thanks

Thanks to all who came out and made this event a big success; an especially strong turnout at the Urdu/Hindi parenting workshop and the Mandarin workshop; thanks to all who helped with the gardening workshop and to the many kids who turned out for the hula hoop workshop.

Big thank you to local realtor, Cameron Weir for donating the Workshop Evening refreshments and to Starbucks for providing the coffee.

News from Equinox for Roden – Equinox Outdoor Kindergarten Space

Equinox is fundraising to transform our paved outdoor kindergarten space into a natural oasis in our neighbourhood!

Not only will Roden kindergarten children be invited to share this space whenever Equinox is off site (frequently), but the space will be open to the neighbourhood community and daycare outside of school hours. It will be great to have another play area in our local “park”!

This is just the start of what we hope will be a collaborative effort to redevelop the entire schoolyard!

To see a concept drawing of the new space along with more detailed information, please visit www.bit.ly/OutdoorK

Please also consider supporting our fundraising campaign online until June 24. Every bit helps!’Perks’ begin at $10. Same website: www.bit.ly/OutdoorK

We will have an information table at your BBQ where you can learn more. For other inquiries, please contact Carla Troper at carla.troper@gmail.com.
