Monday October 27th is Election day in Toronto. Learn more about who the Trustees are in our Ward. While Roden is in Ward 15 some of our students and families fall into Ward 16. For a complete list of all candidates(mayoral and councillors) check out the city of Toronto site.

October parenting workshop

Do you need help identifying and understanding your child(ren)’s fears and inhibitions? Come to Roden school council’s first workshop of the year: Strategies for dealing with anxiety in children. FREE. Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m. in the school library. Refreshments and childcare provided.

Just over a week left until the Roden Walk-a-Thon! Here’s a look at the event’s walking schedule by grade. And just a reminder that students should return their sponsor envelopes to their classroom teachers by Oct. 16.

Roden School Council is holding its’ first meeting of the year on Wednesday, October 8 in the school library starting at 6:00 p.m. Check out the agenda for evening. All parents and caregivers are welcome to join us. Childcare and pizza are provided.
