Roden’s Grades 7 & 8 students celebrate at the finish line of the Walk-a-thon Oct. 17. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen; a special note of thanks to organizers Nadia and Tanya.

Roden school council meeting – Wednesday, Oct. 8
Roden School Council is holding its first meeting of the year next Wednesday, October 8 in the school library starting at 6:00 p.m.
All parents and caregivers are welcome to join us. Childcare is provided.
Popcorn Fridays!
Grade 8 students are gearing up for their graduation from Roden, and they’ve have taken the initiative to raise funds for their own grad party!
Every Friday until the end of the school year, grade 8 students will be selling popcorn from 3:30 to 4:00 PM outside of the main school entrance.
Bring a LOONIE every Friday & enjoy some popcorn after school with friends!
Grade 8 students are invaluable assets to our school. Many of them volunteer their time to help at school council fundraisers, which couldn’t happen as easily without them. Since the funds from these events go toward special guests in the classroom, field trips, science and music equipment and much more, their contribution is really important.
